Dr. Wondersmile Invisible Aligners
Compared to braces, invisible aligners are an effective and affordable way to straighten your teeth. Each set is custom-made for your teeth to ensure optimum results. Our aligner kits consist of a series of 14-18 aligners on average. Each set is slightly different and progressively moves your teeth a tiny distance at a time.
With Dr. Wondersmile, you can choose from two options, All-Day aligners and NightClear aligners. Our All-Day aligners require more wear-time (20-22 hours per day), however you’ll see faster results (6 months on average). Compared with our NightClear aligners that’ll deliver results in 9 months on average.
Our clear aligners are prescribed by our orthodontics team and arrive as a complete set to your doorstep. Focusing only on the front 6 teeth of both upper and or lower arch, each set contains a series of individual aligners, designed to make minor adjustments over time. This procedure is carefully designed by our Dr. Wondersmile orthodontics team, who review each case. Each customer case is completely personalised and the average treatment plan is between 6-9 months.
Take our free and easy one-minute assessment to find out if your teeth are ideal candidates for our invisible aligners.
Our Dr. Wondersmile orthodontists will assess each customer on a case-by-case basis and will advise whether you are eligible for our clear aligners.

For any customers who have had teeth removed, we recommend waiting at least 6 weeks after having any teeth removed. Customers who would like to begin earlier, should seek advice from their dentist beforehand.
Our aligners are made from BPA-free plastic, which will not irritate your gums unlike traditional braces. They are also free of phthalates, made in the US and Germany and FDA approved.

NightClear FAQs

Compared to our All-Day aligners, our NightClear aligners only need to be worn at night, so you can straighten your teeth as you sleep. You won’t have to worry about taking your aligners off throughout the day when you eat or drink, and this option is even more discreet if you prefer to straighten your teeth only at home.
Absolutely! All of our invisible aligner options are orthodontist-designed specifically to your needs. The end result will be the same. The only differences are the amount of aligner wear-time, treatment length and cost.
NightClear invisible aligners are worn for 10 hours each night, whereas All-Day aligners need to be worn for 22-hours throughout the day.
The trade-off of wearing NightClear aligners for less time every day is that the duration of treatment is usually longer. With NightClear aligners, you can expect to see results in an average of 9 months versus an average of 6 months for All-Day aligners.
NightClear aligners are priced starting from $2,050, which is slightly more than All-Day aligners, which start at $1,950.
NightClear aligners use a thicker resin as part of manufacturing. This allows aligners to safely align teeth while the body is resting.
It's important that you choose carefully when selecting your treatment plan type. Our All-day and NightClear aligners can vary in treatment length, process and cost. This makes it difficult to change midway through without impacting your Dr. Wondersmile journey and possibly disrupting treatment. However, our team, supported by our orthodontic and dental team, will be able to advise you on our aligner treatment options and answer any questions you have to ensure you make the right choice for you and your teeth. If you do have any issues, please contact our support team so we can discuss your options.
There will be some getting used to wearing aligners at the start of treatment, but this won’t take long and will feel comfortable in no time. The best part – you’ll be multitasking while you sleep and most of the hard work happens while you’re dreaming.
The good news is you can get your teeth straightened at any age. At Dr. Wondersmile, we strive to ensure that you get the best care and the best results for your teeth alignment and our orthodontists take age into consideration when designing treatment plans. As we get older our teeth can move at a much faster rate, so we do have age guidelines for our NightClear aligners. If you would like to improve your smile and overall oral health with nighttime aligners, we encourage you to discuss your options and eligibility with our customer care team.

Treatment Procedure

All patient treatment plans are assessed, designed and reviewed by our qualified dental and orthodontics team, led by our Head Orthodontist, Dr. Tania Aguilar. Your teeth are in safe hands!
Technology. Before you even start the treatment, you will receive a 3D simulation video of how your teeth will shift over time, at each aligner stage. If you have any questions regarding your prescribed treatment plan, just email [email protected].
Everyone is different, some will be shorter or longer than others. The average time is between 6 to 9 months. It just depends on the complexity of your correction and what our orthodontists prescribe to ensure safe and comfortable results.
Our orthodontist will assess your case and determine the optimum solution for you. If it turns out you are eligible for one arch only, we’ll also reduce the price. For single arch treatment plans you’ll receive $300 off the full price of the treatment plan.
To suit the different lifestyles of our patients, we like to give our patients the choice: All-day aligners - we recommend you wear for 20-22 hours per day, taking them out for eating and drinking. NightClear aligners - we recommend you wear them for 8-10 hours whilst you sleep.
The first step, your at-home teeth impressions, are painless. With our aligners, some customers may find some tightness in the first few days of a new aligner but that’s perfectly normal, that just shows the aligners are getting to work! It should ease off in a few days. In any case, our team is only a phone call away to help.
Never! Our team and orthodontists review your progress remotely. No more long drives to the clinic. No more waiting rooms. We have leveraged the best in teledentistry and technology to ensure that you get expert care, without the high cost and monthly visits to the dental clinic.
The best thing to do is wear your old aligner from the previous stage. We can get a replacement made for $60, for production faults the replacement is free of charge, however it’ll take time to produce and send to you. In most cases, customers can just pop in the previous set or even progress forward one stage earlier.
To maintain your results, just like braces, we organise custom-made retainers at 1 set for $250 or you may have bundle deal at 2 sets for $450 or 3 sets for $600. We recommend you replace your retainers every 6 months. They are also required if you wish to remain eligible for our Treatment Guarantee.
Just sign into your online profile and it will show when you should be moving to the next stage. We’ll also send you reminders so there’s less chance you’ll forget.
We consider each case individually, please email to our Customer Care team at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to discuss this with you.
Dr. Wondersmile invisible aligners are designed for mild to moderate teeth crowding. Some customers experience an improvement to their bite when teeth are moving, but this isn't what they are specifically designed for. Once our orthodontists design your treatment plan, you will be able to see the movement and what can be achieved.

Braces vs. Aligners

Braces. With braces you may feel discomfort every time your orthodontist adjusts your braces or wires, and for several days thereafter. With clear aligners, mild discomfort may be felt only during the initial week of new aligner wear for All-Day aligners, and up to 3 weeks for NightClear aligners.
Yes. Each of your aligners is customised to produce movements of your teeth that are part of a unique sequence, designed for your treatment plan. Your aligner treatment will be custom-made and designed by our team of orthodontists.
Our aligners are made from FDA and TGA approved plastic resin that is phthalate-free and BPA-free. The aligners will not irritate your gums and are non allergenic, for the majority of patients.

There are several ways that clear aligners are preferable to braces:

- They are almost invisible, unlike bulkier braces.

- Braces require frequent office visits to customise your treatment, while clear aligners are computer-designed to deliver customised movements, which don’t require office visits.

- Clear aligners are also much more comfortable than braces, which can scratch your lips and cheeks.

- It’s much easier to clean your teeth during clear aligner treatment than when wearing braces, which trap a lot of food.

Our aligners are designed to fix spacing, crowding and overlapping of the front 6 teeth in the upper and lower jaws.
The average treatment time is 6-9 months. Some of our customers have seen results in as little as 4 months.
You can keep your aligners in to drink water.

However, you’ll need to take them out for food and beverages, to avoid getting tooth decay. With our clear aligners, there are no restrictions with what you can eat compared with braces. Just make sure your teeth are clean before you put your aligners back in.
Unlike braces, you can easily take your aligners out for brushing and flossing.
If you’re doing strenuous exercise, you may take them out, but remember to put them back in afterwards.
